As traditionally, in each record release since the new line-up was presented to the fans, the Reaching Horizons website was rebuilt. With colors and themes from the new alum. And what an album! Aurora Consurgens shows a lot more heavier band, straight to the point, showing creativity and escaping from stagnation. This is a proud for all the fans and shows that Brazilian metal can be among the best. Aurora Consurgens was released, and have immediately reached 14th position in record sales in Brazil. Angra is the only metal band in this list, and this is one of the marks never reached before, to a band that is flying higher and higher...
Speaking of the site, navigation was simplified and rebuilt. Some areas have gone forever, and some will return in a few days like the "photos" and "downloads" areas. We used a new technology to build the page that adds a lot of dynamism to the updates, targeting that the fans can find here always the most updated info and news. The site now detects from where the user is accessing and show the correct language (initially english and portuguese only, but new languages are yet to come, translators welcome), making that old style opening page totally useless. Color patterns were also built to make the site a little better to eyes, and site resolution was set to 1024x768, which is better for new monitors and web 2.0 standarts. We have a far more efficient news area that will be updated frequently. The Tour Review area will be back in a few days, and fans will can send their own show reviews to be read for all.
That's it! I hope you enjoy the new face of "Reaching Horizons" and give us the pleasure of your visit frequently. There's still a lot of work to do! and i am open to suggestion and collaboration of all fans!
Cheers!
